Nesant Capital | Case Study

Overview

This project is a redesign of the original website. The company had an incomplete website, so I created this one-page design to help them transition between their current site and rebuild. I do not own the rights to the content on the website, so please contact the company about any services offered or information listed on it.

Audience:

People looking for luxury villas in Spain.

Responsibilities:

Project management, research, visual design, logo design

Tools Used:

Hostsinger, Figma, Canva

The Problem

The company's current site had a few user interface issues. There were some broken links, issues with the text, missing information and a few minor visual hierarchy issues.

The Solution

I used the colours from their website as inspiration for the redesign. I kept many elements from the original site but improved the layout and feel. I also fixed visual hierarchy issues and created and implemented a style guide so that the design looked cleaner.

The Process

After analysing the problem and performing a heuristic evaluation, I created a colour palette for the design.

I then played around with the layout until I found a look and feel that worked. I also created a logo in Canva by adding lines together to form the shape. I shaped it to look like a small villa.

Following that, I gathered the images and resources from the original site and added them to the new one.

Then I checked to see that the images worked well with the design.

Next, I made some adjustments to the colours and made adjustments to colours where needed.

Finally, I fixed the copy with the help of AI and then tested all links to ensure that everything was working correctly.

Takeaways

The project was fun. I hope to iterate on it some more. Creating this redesign was a nice opportunity for me to work on my design skills. Click on the button above to compare my design with the original one.
